The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met this afternoon with the Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio, at Palazzo Chigi, to discuss the next measures regarding the justice system.

Incontro del Presidente Meloni con il Ministro della Giustizia Nordio
Il Presidente Meloni ha incontrato questo pomeriggio a Palazzo Chigi il Ministro della Giustizia Nordio per discutere dei prossimi provvedimenti in tema di giustizia. "Dare ai cittadini una giustizia giusta e veloce è una priorità assoluta di questo Governo e un impegno che abbiamo preso con gli italiani. Siamo determinati a mantenerlo nel più breve tempo possibile", dichiara il Presidente Meloni.

Prefect Giuseppe Pecoraro appointed National Coordinator for the fight against anti-Semitism
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, has appointed Prefect Giuseppe Pecoraro as National Coordinator for the fight against anti-Semitism. President Meloni thanks Professor Milena Santerini for her valuable work at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers over the last years and wishes Prefect Pecoraro all the best with his new role.

"Patto per la Terza età" in Consiglio dei Ministri, la dichiarazione del Presidente Meloni
Col disegno di legge approvato oggi dal Consiglio dei ministri il Governo sigla un "Patto per la Terza età" e pone le basi della riforma complessiva delle politiche in favore degli anziani e contro la loro marginalizzazione. Sono tanti gli interventi che verranno messi in cantiere dal punto di vista sanitario, sociale, assistenziale e relazionale, con l'obiettivo di prendersi cura degli anziani a 360 gradi e rispondere a tutti i loro bisogni ed esigenze.

President Meloni’s statement on the Council of Ministers’ ‘Pact for senior citizens’
With the draft law approved today by the Council of Ministers, the Government has signed a ‘Pact for senior citizens’, laying the foundations for the comprehensive reform of policies in support of the elderly and against their marginalisation. Many healthcare, social, welfare and relational measures will be put in place, with the aim of providing the elderly with comprehensive care and meeting all their needs and requirements.

Meeting on reforms: statement by Palazzo Chigi
During the meeting on reforms held today at Palazzo Chigi, there was great unity, in line with the commitments made to Italians and defined in the coalition’s programme.
The meeting, attended by President of the Council of Ministers Meloni, Vice-Presidents Tajani and Salvini, Undersecretary of State Mantovano and Ministers Calderoli, Casellati, Fitto and Lollobrigida, defined the technical and political road map for the preliminary approval, in one of the next Council of Ministers meetings, of the draft law on ‘differentiated autonomy’.

President Meloni’s condolence message following the helicopter crash in Ukraine
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, and the entire Government offer their deepest condolences and sympathy to President Zelensky of Ukraine, to Prime Minister Shmyhal and to all Ukrainian people following the tragic accident in which Interior Minister Monastyrsky, Deputy Minister Yenin, Undersecretary Lubkovych and the helicopter crew lost their lives. The Italian Government joins Ukraine in its sorrow and sends its heartfelt thoughts to the families of the victims.

Elicottero precipitato in Ucraina, il cordoglio del Presidente Meloni
Il Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni e tutto il Governo esprimono profondo cordoglio e vicinanza al Presidente dell'Ucraina Zelensky, al Primo Ministro Shmyhal e a tutto il popolo ucraino per il tragico incidente nel quale hanno perso la vita il Ministro dell'Interno Monastyrsky, il Vice Ministro Yenin, il Sottosegretario Lubkovych e l'equipaggio dell'elicottero. Il Governo italiano si unisce al dolore dell'Ucraina e rivolge alle famiglie delle vittime il suo pensiero commosso.
