Phone call between President Meloni and President Erdoğan
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
President Meloni once again expressed her personal condolences and the solidarity of the Government and Italian people following the tragic earthquake that hit Türkiye and Syria.
President Erdoğan expressed deep gratitude for Italy’s immediate response to support Türkiye and the people affected, focusing in particular on the humanitarian aid and field hospital that Italy has provided. President Meloni expressed the entire nation’s great sympathy for Türkiye, assuring Italy’s full readiness to continue with rescue operations and assistance in coordination with European partners.

Dichiarazione del Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni
L'assoluzione di Silvio Berlusconi è un’ottima notizia che mette fine a una lunga vicenda giudiziaria che ha avuto importanti riflessi anche nella vita politica e istituzionale italiana. Rivolgo al Presidente Berlusconi a nome mio e del Governo un saluto affettuoso.

Caso Cospito, la precisazione del Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica
In riferimento all’articolo apparso sul Corriere della Sera, firmato dai giornalisti Margherita De Bac e Cesare Giuzzi, riguardante il quesito posto dal Ministero della Giustizia al Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica sul caso del detenuto Alfredo Cospito, si precisa che ad oggi il CNB non si è ancora espresso in merito. Inoltre, qualunque opinione rappresenta un'inopportuna anticipazione di un parere non ancora elaborato e discusso, e non quello del CNB in quanto tale, del quale fanno parte altri 31 componenti. Il sottotitolo dell'articolo è fuorviante e destituito di fondamento.

Nota di Palazzo Chigi
La Presidenza del Consiglio informa di avere in data odierna dato incarico all'Avvocatura dello Stato perché revochi la propria costituzione di parte civile nel processo penale c.d. 'Ruby ter' a carico - fra gli altri - del Sen. Silvio Berlusconi. La costituzione era stata disposta nel 2017 dal Governo Gentiloni, un Esecutivo a guida politica, in base a una scelta dettata da valutazioni sue proprie, in un momento storico in cui non erano ancora intervenute pronunce giudiziarie nella medesima vicenda.

Colloquio telefonico del Presidente Meloni con l'Emiro del Qatar
Il Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni ha avuto oggi una conversazione telefonica con l’Emiro del Qatar, Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, in occasione della sua visita ufficiale in Italia. Il Presidente Meloni ha voluto anzitutto esprimere il suo rammarico di non prendere parte agli incontri presso il Quirinale assieme al Signor Presidente della Repubblica a causa di un’influenza che le ha fatto cancellare tutti gli impegni previsti. Nel corso della telefonata sono stati approfonditi i temi dell’agenda bilaterale con particolare riferimento ai settori della cooperazione regionale, energetica e degli investimenti, rilevando le opportunità di crescita nei rapporti tra l’Italia e il Qatar. È stato espresso l’auspicio di poter presto avere una nuova occasione di incontro.

Phone call between President Meloni and the Emir of Qatar
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, on the occasion of his official visit to Italy. President Meloni first of all expressed her regret that she was unable to attend the meetings at the Quirinale Palace with the President of the Republic due to a flu causing her to cancel all her scheduled engagements.
During the call, the two leaders discussed the issues on the bilateral agenda in depth, with particular reference to regional cooperation, energy cooperation and investment, noting the opportunities for growth in relations between Italy and Qatar.
They expressed their hope to soon have another opportunity to meet.

Today, Italy marks the Day of Remembrance that pays tribute to the martyrs of the Foibe massacres and to the Italians of Istria, Rijeka and Dalmatia who were forced to abandon their homes and their lands just because they were Italian. Hundreds of thousands of our compatriots had no choice but to flee, and, on several occasions, the nation failed to embrace them as it should have.

Giorno del ricordo, il messaggio del Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni
Oggi l’Italia celebra il Giorno del Ricordo e rende il suo tributo ai martiri delle foibe e agli italiani d’Istria, Fiume e Dalmazia costretti ad abbandonare le loro case e le loro terre per il solo fatto di essere italiani. Centinaia di migliaia di nostri connazionali obbligati a fuggire e che la Nazione, in diverse occasioni, non seppe accogliere come sarebbe stato giusto fare.
