President Meloni in Berlin

An Intergovernmental Summit between Italy and Germany was held in Berlin today. Upon her arrival, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, participated in the virtual G20 Leaders’ Summit together with the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz.
After attending a bilateral business forum, President Meloni and Chancellor Scholz participated in the Italy-Germany Intergovernmental Summit, which was also attended by seven Italian Government Ministers (Foreign Affairs; Interior; Defence; Economy and Finance; Enterprises and Made in Italy; Labour; University) and seven German Government Ministers. During the Summit, the President of the Council of Ministers and the Federal Chancellor signed an Action Plan to strengthen cooperation at both bilateral and European level and then went on to hold a press conference.
