President Meloni attends European Council meeting
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended today’s European Council meeting in Brussels. This morning, upon her arrival at the Europa building, she addressed journalists at a doorstep. In the margins of the meeting, she met with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and with Prime Minister Petr Fiala and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. This evening, Minister Raffaele Fitto addressed journalists in the margins of the meeting.

President Meloni meets with Prime Minister Mitsotakis of the Hellenic Republic
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in the margins of the European Council meeting. The cordial meeting confirmed the close cooperation between Italy and Greece on the main issues at the centre of the European and international agenda, with particular focus on stability and growth opportunities in the Mediterranean. Common interest therefore emerged in further strengthening relations between Rome and Athens, also at bilateral level.

Il Presidente Meloni incontra il Primo Ministro della Repubblica ellenica Mitsotakis
Il cordiale incontro ha confermato la stretta cooperazione tra Italia e Grecia sui principali temi al centro dell’agenda europea e internazionale, con particolare attenzione alla stabilità e alle opportunità di crescita nel Mediterraneo. È quindi emerso il comune interesse a rafforzare ulteriormente le relazioni tra Roma e Atene anche bilateralmente.

European Council: President Meloni expresses satisfaction with agreements reached
President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni welcomes, with great satisfaction, the agreement reached with the adoption, through written procedure, of the package regarding minimum taxation for multinationals, macro-financial assistance to Ukraine with an EU budget guarantee, and the approval of Hungary’s recovery and resilience plan. “Managing to untie such an important political knot is, I believe, a great success. I had fruitful discussions with the Prime Ministers of Poland and the Czech Republic this morning – underlined President Meloni –, a decisive meeting which in fact unblocked the situation.”

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha partecipato oggi a Bruxelles al Consiglio europeo. Questa mattina, al suo arrivo all'Europa Building, ha tenuto un punto stampa.
In serata, a margine dei lavori del Consiglio, il Ministro per gli Affari europei, il Sud, le Politiche di Coesione e il PNRR Raffaele Fitto ha tenuto un punto stampa.

Il Presidente Giorgia Meloni, ha partecipato a Bruxelles alla riunione del Consiglio europeo. Questa mattina, al suo arrivo all'Europa Building, ha tenuto un punto stampa. Nel corso della giornata, gli incontri con il Primo Ministro Kyriakos Mitsotakis, il Primo Ministro Petr Fiala, e il Primo Ministro Mateusz Morawiecki. Vertice UE-ASEAN, il Presidente Meloni incontra il Primo Ministro vietnamita Phạm Minh Chính
I due Capi di Governo hanno espresso soddisfazione per l’andamento dei rapporti bilaterali e concordato di rafforzare ulteriormente la collaborazione fra i due Paesi, in particolare nei settori del commercio, della transizione energetica, della cultura e della difesa. Hanno inoltre sottolineato l’importanza del rapporto fra Unione Europea e Associazione delle Nazioni del Sudest Asiatico (ASEAN), in particolare nel contesto globale attuale.
