I express mine and the Government’s full solidarity with the police officers who were insulted and attacked today by self-styled “protesters” who use any excuse to vent their senseless violence. It is intolerable for dozens of officers to be injured during a street demonstration. The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati.
