European Political Community summit and informal European Council meeting

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the informal meeting of the Heads of State and Government of the European Council in Granada today, after which she held a press point.
Yesterday, she participated in the third meeting of the European Political Community. Upon her arrival at the Granada conference centre, she addressed journalists at a press point and went on to attend the summit’s plenary session and roundtable on artificial intelligence. President Meloni later co-chaired a meeting, together with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of the United Kingdom, on the fight against human trafficking.
Over the course of the two days, President Meloni had meetings with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, with the President of the Swiss Confederation, Alain Berset, with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, and with the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz.
