Scomparsa del Generale Graziano, il cordoglio del Presidente Meloni

Sono sconvolta dalla notizia della tragica scomparsa del Generale Claudio Graziano. Ci lascia un integerrimo servitore dello Stato, che in tutta la sua vita ha reso onore alla Nazione, alle Forze Armate e alle Istituzioni con dedizione, competenza e professionalità. Desidero rivolgere, a nome mio e di tutto il Governo, il cordoglio e la vicinanza alla sua famiglia e ai suoi cari.

President Meloni’s condolence message on the passing of General Graziano

I am shocked by the news of the tragic passing of General Claudio Graziano. An upstanding servant of the state has left us. Throughout his life, he honoured the nation, the armed forces and the institutions with dedication, competence and professionalism. Both personally and on behalf of the entire Government, I wish to offer condolences and sympathy to his family and loved ones.

G7 Summit: President Meloni meets with the President of the World Bank Group, Ajay Banga

The exchange of views focused on prospects for collaboration, with particular reference to the synergies with Italy’s Mattei Plan for Africa, as emerged during the side event on the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII), which President Banga also attended.

G7 Summit: President Meloni meets with the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a bilateral meeting today with the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The meeting highlighted both Leaders’ common will to give continuity to the results of the G7 Apulia Summit ahead of the G20 Summit to be held in Rio de Janeiro, with a view to creating synergy between the two Presidencies, starting with development in Africa, Artificial Intelligence, energy transition and food security.

G7 Summit: President Meloni meets with the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune

After the G7 Summit working sessions came to a close yesterday, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. During the meeting, the two Leaders expressed their deep satisfaction with the excellent state of bilateral relations, notably in the economic domain, where relations continue to develop in the energy, agricultural and industrial sectors.

G7 Summit: President Meloni meets with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a meeting today with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau. Canada will assume the G7 Presidency in 2025. The two Leaders focused on the prospects for strengthening bilateral relations. In this regard, they adopted the Italy-Canada Roadmap for Enhanced Cooperation, as agreed during their previous meeting in Toronto in March.

Third day of the G7 Summit

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, held a press conference this afternoon, bringing the Summit of the G7 Heads of State and Government in Italy’s Apulia Region to a close. Day three of the Summit was dedicated to bilateral meetings.
