The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Giancarlo Giorgetti, express their appreciation for today’s large seizure of cocaine in Venice.
“We are proud of this operation by the Guardia di Finanza [Italian Finance Police], which has made a second significant drugs seizure in a matter of days: after the 2,000-kilogram haul in the Sicilian channel, another 850 kilograms of cocaine have been seized in Venice today. A success for the men and women of the Guardia di Finanza, whom we congratulate, and a demonstration that the Government is serious about fighting drugs and will continue on the path of zero tolerance”.
