President Meloni’s telephone conversation with President Tebboune of Algeria

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, continues to keep in close contact with the Heads of State and Government of allied nations and of the countries most affected by the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
In particular, President Meloni had a very cordial telephone conversation today with the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The call focused on the serious current crisis and the shared need for urgent and coordinated diplomatic action to curb its further expansion and the related humanitarian consequences. 
The two leaders agreed to keep in contact on the developments in the situation.
