President Meloni’s statement on the two new professions created in the field of education

The creation of the two new professions of ‘tutor’ and ‘guidance teacher’, as announced by Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara today, for which EUR 150 million will be earmarked in 2023 for training, confirms the Government’s commitment to place merit at the centre of its education policies and to bring out students’ talents. This is also a concrete step to overcome social and territorial inequalities and to support the guidance activities necessary for young people to make informed choices, in line with their aspirations and potential.
