Minister Fitto meets with EU Commissioner for Budget and Administration Hahn

The Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP, Raffaele Fitto, met with the European Commissioner for Budget and Administration, Johannes Hahn, in Rome today. 
The meeting focused on the future revision of the Multiannual Financial Framework and on new own resources, in view of the proposals to be presented by the European Commission on this subject over the coming months and the subsequent negotiations that should hopefully be completed by the end of 2023.
Minister Fitto reiterated to Commissioner Hahn the need for the European Union to be as flexible as possible in using available resources, given the changed international and economic context. 
Minister Fitto and Commissioner Hahn also had an exchange of views on the NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) and cohesion policy.
