Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha tenuto un intervento, presso il teatro Massimo di Palermo, durante la cerimonia di firma dell'Accordo per lo sviluppo e la coesione tra il Governo e la Regione Siciliana.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, delivered a speech at this afternoon’s signing ceremony for the ‘Development and Cohesion Agreement’ between the Italian Government and the Sicilian Region, held in Palermo. The event was also attended by Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP Raffaele Fitto, President of the Sicilian Region Renato Schifani, President of the Sicilian Regional Assembly Gaetano Galvagno, Mayor of Palermo Roberto Lagalla and Prefect of Palermo Massimo Mariani.

During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the excellent state of bilateral relations, with particular regard to the economy and trade, as well as possible further areas for cooperation and investment, also in light of the joint venture MAESTRAL recently launched between Fincantieri and the Emirati EDGE Group. Lastly, President Meloni thanked the UAE President for confirming his participation in the G7 Summit to be held at Borgo Egnazia, in Italy’s Apulia Region.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha avuto oggi una conversazione telefonica con il Presidente degli Emirati Arabi Uniti, Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Nel corso del colloquio è stato condiviso l’eccellente stato dei rapporti bilaterali, in particolare sul versante economico e commerciale e le possibili ulteriori aree di collaborazione e di investimenti, anche alla luce della recente creazione della joint venture MAESTRAL tra Fincantieri e l’emiratina EDGE Group. Il Presidente Meloni ha infine ringraziato il suo interlocutore per aver confermato la sua partecipazione al Vertice G7 di Borgo Egnazia.
