President Meloni meets with Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz, Archbishop emeritus of Krakow, at Palazzo Chigi today. During their meeting, President Meloni and Cardinal Dziwisz shared in remembering Pope John Paul II, ten years on from his canonisation; Cardinal Dziwisz was his personal secretary throughout his Pontificate. President Meloni also had the opportunity to offer her guest her best wishes for his 85th birthday.

Media accreditation information for the G7 Summit
From Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th June 2024, the meeting of G7 Heads of State and Government will be held at Borgo Egnazia (BR), in Apulia, chaired by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni. Early accreditation is mandatory for all media representatives interested in attending.

Statement by Palazzo Chigi on transfer of a newborn infant from the UK to Rome’s Bambino Gesù Hospital
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers announces that an infant with Italian citizenship, who was born in the United Kingdom a few days ago with a very serious heart defect, has been transferred to the Bambino Gesù Paediatric Hospital in Rome, after landing at Ciampino airport on Italian Air Force flight C130 at 6.30pm on Tuesday 23 April.
The Bambino Gesù Paediatric Hospital in Rome has expressed its readiness to provide the necessary care, in accordance with the family’s wishes.

Trasferimento dal Regno Unito all’Ospedale Bambin Gesù di Roma di un neonato, nota di Palazzo Chigi
La Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri rende noto che, con volo C130 dell’Aeronautica Militare atterrato a Ciampino alle 18.30 di martedì 23 aprile, è stato trasferito presso l’Ospedale Pediatrico Bambin Gesù di Roma un neonato di cittadinanza italiana, nato pochi giorni fa nel Regno Unito e affetto da una gravissima malformazione cardiaca.
L’Ospedale Pediatrico Bambin Gesù di Roma si è reso disponibile a prestare le cure necessarie, secondo la volontà della famiglia.

Presentation of National Cybersecurity Agency’s annual report to Parliament
A press conference was held at Palazzo Chigi today to present the annual report to Parliament by the National Cybersecurity Agency (‘Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale’, ‘ACN’). Participants included Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano, President of the Parliamentary Committee for the Security of the Republic Lorenzo Guerini, ACN Director General Bruno Frattasi, and Marco Camisani Calzolari, a university professor and author of several papers on digital marketing and communication.
