President Meloni participates in final video conference of Japanese G7 Presidency

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, participated in the final video conference of the Japanese G7 Presidency this afternoon. The meeting focused on the war of aggression against Ukraine and the conflict in Gaza.

President Meloni reaffirmed that the Italian Government will continue to firmly support the Ukrainian authorities in all areas.

She also reiterated Israel’s right to defend itself, the importance of the release of hostages and the need to protect civilians and provide humanitarian aid to the population of Gaza.

In closing, the President of the Council of Ministers presented the priorities of the upcoming Italian G7 Presidency.
