The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met today with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi. The meeting focused on the status of the safety of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and the topic of nuclear non-proliferation, also in light of the international context.
The prospects for nuclear fusion were also discussed, an issue that could be explored further during the Italian Presidency of the G7.
