I am very pleased with today’s decision by the European Commission, which has given the green light for the third instalment of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) to be paid out and has also approved the Government’s amendment proposals regarding the fourth instalment.
This great result will allow Italy to receive the planned amount of EUR 35 billion in 2023, and is thanks to both the intense work that has been carried out over these months and the Government’s strong cooperation with the European Commission.
I would particularly like to thank President von der Leyen for this. I also wish to thank Minister for European Affairs, Southern Italy, Cohesion Policy and the NRRP Raffaele Fitto and all the Ministries that have made it possible to achieve this goal.
We will continue to work in this direction, in the interest of our citizens, our families and our businesses.
