President Meloni meets with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a long and cordial meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, at Palazzo Chigi today.
The two leaders discussed the main bilateral issues, noting the excellent relations between Rome and Tirana in the political, economic, trade, cultural and social spheres. President Meloni confirmed the Italian Government’s firm and continuous support for Albania’s European integration path, which was fully recognised and appreciated by Prime Minister Rama. 
President Meloni and Prime Minister Rama also shared the importance of making every effort to facilitate the European integration process of the Western Balkans.
