President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni received Don Antonio Coluccia at Palazzo Chigi today, the priest who was attacked in Rome’s Tor Bella Monaca district yesterday. President Meloni expressed the Government’s full support and utmost solidarity to the priest and thanked him for his tireless efforts against organised crime, drug dealing and illegality.
The President of the Council of Ministers inquired about the situation in the area where the parish priest works and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to fight organised crime and support social and economic regeneration.
President Meloni also asked about the condition of Don Antonio Coluccia’s police escort agent who was injured during yesterday’s attack.
The meeting was also attended by Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano.
