Palazzo Chigi lit up with the colours of the Ukrainian flag to mark the anniversary of the outbreak of the war

Italy and its main international partners have coordinated to light up their respective Government headquarters with the colours of the Ukrainian flag today, on the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. 
In Italy, in addition to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies have also joined the initiative, with both parliamentary buildings to be lit up this evening.
The colours of Ukraine’s national flag will therefore be projected onto the main façade of Palazzo Chigi from sunset on 24 February until dawn on 25 February.
