Meeting of institutional working group and coordination committee for the Jubilee 2025

The third joint meeting of the institutional working group and the coordination committee for the Jubilee of 2025 was held today at Palazzo Chigi, chaired by Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano. At the beginning of the meeting, it was announced that the plan for the measures contained in the second DPCM [Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers], signed on 8 June, had got underway. In this regard, the Mayor of Rome and special commissioner for the Jubilee 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, specified that a meeting had been held on 23 June with all implementing bodies to check time schedules and provide support for the activities necessary to complete the works. Afterwards, Undersecretary Mantovano passed the floor to the coordinators of the following working groups in order to get an update on their activities: public order and security; health; transport and mobility; telecommunications and state police; essential emergency technical services; volunteer work and logistics; tourism and culture; and, care for the city.

Among others, the meeting was attended by: Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli; Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Economy and Finance Lucia Albano; Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Maria Tripodi; Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport Tullio Ferrante; President of the Lazio Region Francesco Rocca; Prefect of Rome Lamberto Giannini; Pro-Prefect of the Holy See's Dicastery for Evangelization Monsignor Rino Fisichella; Head of the Civil Protection Department Fabrizio Curcio; and, President of the Chamber of Deputies Culture Commission Federico Mollicone.
