The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, travelled to the Republic of Tunisia today, where she met with the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kais Saied, at the Presidential Palace of Carthage. In the margins of the meeting, President Meloni issued a press statement.

Giubileo 2025, riunione della Cabina di Coordinamento
Si è svolta oggi a Palazzo Chigi la tredicesima riunione della Cabina di Coordinamento Giubileo 2025, presieduta dal Sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio, Alfredo Mantovano. In apertura di riunione, il Sottosegretario Mantovano ha invitato il Sindaco di Roma e Commissario straordinario per il Giubileo 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, a fornire un aggiornamento sullo stato di avanzamento dei lavori e sull’attuazione del piano Caput mundi, ricordando l’importanza del rispetto dei tempi per il raggiungimento degli obiettivi previsti dal PNRR.

Jubilee 2025 Coordination Committee meeting
The thirteenth meeting of the Coordination Committee for the Jubilee of 2025 was held at Palazzo Chigi today, chaired by Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano. Opening the meeting, Undersecretary of State Mantovano invited the Mayor of Rome and Special Commissioner for the Jubilee 2025, Roberto Gualtieri, to provide an update on the progress of works projects and on implementation of the ‘Caput mundi’ plan, underlining the importance of keeping to schedule to meet the targets set by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

President Meloni’s telephone conversation with King Abdullah II of Jordan
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation this afternoon with King Abdullah II of Jordan regarding the regional situation in the Middle East following Iran’s attack against Israel. President Meloni made reference to the conclusions of the G7 Leaders’ meeting she chaired on Sunday, and the two Leaders focused on the need to avoid further escalation in the region.

Colloquio telefonico del Presidente Meloni con il Re di Giordania Abdallah II
Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha avuto questo pomeriggio un colloquio telefonico con il Re di Giordania Abdallah II sulla situazione regionale in Medio Oriente dopo l’attacco iraniano contro Israele. Il Presidente Meloni ha richiamato le conclusioni della riunione dei Leader G7 che aveva presieduto nella giornata di domenica e i due Leader si sono concentrati sull’esigenza di evitare un’ulteriore escalation nella regione.

G7 Leaders’ meeting following Iran’s attack against Israel
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, today chaired a video conference meeting of the G7 Heads of State and Government, which was called following Iran’s attack against Israel. Following their discussion, the G7 Leaders adopted a joint declaration that firmly condemns the launch of drones and missiles by Iran, reiterating full support for Israel’s security.
The G7 Leaders underlined the need to avoid a further escalation, calling on the parties to refrain from actions aimed at heightening tensions in the Region.
