President Meloni’s telephone conversation with President Erdoğan
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The two leaders focused on the strength of bilateral relations, underlining the importance of continuing to work to further consolidate the steadily growing trend in trade. In this regard, President Meloni invited President Erdoğan to visit Italy in the first half of 2025 for a new session of the Italy- Türkiye intergovernmental summit.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha avuto oggi una conversazione telefonica con il Presidente della Repubblica di Turchia, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. I due leader si sono soffermati sulla solidità dei rapporti bilaterali, sottolineando l’importanza di continuare a lavorare per rafforzare ulteriormente la tendenza in costante crescita dell’interscambio commerciale. In tale ambito, il Presidente Meloni ha rivolto un invito al Presidente Erdoğan a recarsi in Italia nella prima metà del 2025 in occasione di una nuova sessione del Vertice intergovernativo italo-turco.

President Meloni’s telephone conversation with President Saied
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kais Saied. The call took place after President Saied’s swearing-in ceremony yesterday for his new mandate to lead Tunisia, and provided an opportunity to reaffirm the common desire to strengthen the partnership between Rome and Tunis as well as the one with the European Union.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha avuto oggi una conversazione telefonica con il Presidente della Repubblica di Tunisia, Kais Saied. Il colloquio, avvenuto all’indomani della cerimonia di giuramento del Presidente Saied per il suo nuovo mandato alla guida della Tunisia, ha costituito l’occasione per riaffermare la comune volontà di rafforzare il partenariato tra Roma e Tunisi e quello con l’Unione Europea.

Premio Giacomo Matteotti 2024: i vincitori della XX edizione
La Commissione giudicatrice per l’assegnazione del Premio Giacomo Matteotti ha conferito il premio alle seguenti opere: per la sezione “Saggistica”, premio ex aequo a Massimo L. Salvadori, Monica Fioravanzo e Antonio Tedesco; per la sezione “Opere letterarie e teatrali”, premio ex aequo a Nicolò Bruno e Giancarlo Loffarelli. La cerimonia di premiazione è fissata per il giorno 25 ottobre 2024 alle ore 11:00 presso la Sala Verde di Palazzo Chigi.
