President Meloni in India

Upon her arrival in New Delhi this morning, President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni received military honours at the Rashtrapati Bhavan presidential palace during a welcome ceremony with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. She then visited the Raj Ghat memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and went on to meet with Prime Minister Modi at Hyderabad House. Following their meeting, the two leaders issued statements to the press.
This afternoon, President Meloni met with the President of the Republic of India, Droupadi Murmu, and later delivered a speech at the opening of the Raisina Dialogue conference.
