Phone call between President Meloni and President Zelensky of Ukraine

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. The cordial conversation followed the telephone call between President Meloni and President Zelensky on 28 October.
President Meloni renewed the Italian Government’s full support for Kyiv in political, military, economic and humanitarian terms and with regard to restoring energy infrastructure and the future reconstruction of Ukraine.
President Meloni reiterated Italy’s utmost commitment to all actions to help achieve a just peace for the Ukrainian nation.
The President of the Council of Ministers also confirmed her intention to travel to Kyiv and invited President Zelensky to visit Rome.
