Strategic production sectors: President Meloni expresses satisfaction at approval of decree law protecting the national interest

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, expresses satisfaction that the Council of Ministers has approved a decree law to protect the national interest in strategic production sectors. Through this item of legislation, the Government is taking action, inter alia, to ensure that work continues at the ISAB refinery in Priolo which, together with the related activities, employs approximately 10 thousand people. The purpose of this urgent measure is to protect both a strategic national energy hub and levels of employment, which are so significant for Sicily and for the entire nation.
