President Meloni meets Ronald Lauder, President of the World Jewish Congress

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met this morning with the president of the World Jewish Congress, Ronald Lauder, at Palazzo Chigi. The meeting was also attended by the president of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities (‘UCEI’), Noemi Di Segni, and the president of the Jewish Community of Rome, Ruth Dureghello. There was full agreement on the need for a strong and more effective common commitment to fight all forms of anti-Semitism, which is worryingly on the rise also through the internet and social networks. President Meloni also underlined the essential importance of Jewish communities for Italian and European identity.
