Phone call between President Giorgia Meloni and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki of Poland

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki. During the call, President Meloni and Prime Minister Morawiecki discussed the major challenges facing the European Union, including Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, energy security, European economic governance and migration. President Meloni and Prime Minister Morawiecki reaffirmed their willingness to work together to ensure more effective impetus in the process of strengthening the European Union, and to consolidate bilateral relations between Rome and Warsaw.
