Congratulazioni e auguri di buon lavoro al Sindaco di Napoli, Gaetano Manfredi, eletto oggi all'unanimità Presidente dell'ANCI. Siamo la Nazione dei campanili, dei borghi e delle identità e il Governo considera centrale la collaborazione con i Comuni e i Sindaci, che rappresentano la prima fila dell'impegno politico e il volto più prossimo dello Stato. Continueremo a lavorare in questa direzione, come abbiamo fatto finora, per dare risposte concrete ai cittadini e costruire una Nazione più unita, forte e coesa.

President Meloni congratulates Gaetano Manfredi on being elected President of ANCI
Congratulations and best wishes to the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, who was unanimously elected President of ANCI [National Association of Italian Municipalities] today. We are a nation of bell towers, of small towns and villages and local identities, and the Government considers cooperation with municipalities and mayors to be of key importance, as they are at the forefront of political engagement and are the State representatives that are closest to citizens.
We will continue working in this direction, as we have until now, in order to provide citizens with concrete solutions and build a more united, strong and cohesive nation.

President Meloni’s statement on Raffaele Fitto being confirmed as Executive Vice-President of the European Commission
Raffaele Fitto has been confirmed as Executive Vice-President of the European Commission.
This important role being assigned to the Commissioner nominated by Italy is a victory for all Italians, not just for the Government or a political party.
We have been given a significant portfolio and coordination of policy areas that are strategic for our nation and for Europe as a whole, such as agriculture, fisheries, the marine economy, transport and tourism. This appointment confirms that Italy has regained a central position in Europe, befitting our role as a founding member of the EU, the second largest manufacturer in Europe and the continent’s third largest economy.

Visita ufficiale nella Repubblica Argentina
Questa mattina, il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, in visita ufficiale a Buenos Aires, nella Repubblica Argentina, ha deposto una corona di fiori al Monumento a José de San Martin.
A seguire, presso la Casa Rosada, ha incontrato il Presidente Javier Milei, con il quale ha rilasciato dichiarazioni alla stampa.
Successivamente, il Presidente Meloni ha ricevuto le Chiavi della Città da parte del Sindaco di Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri, presso l'Istituto italiano di Cultura, e ha tenuto un intervento di saluto al Teatro Coliseo, dove ha incontrato la comunità italiana.

Il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, in visita nella Repubblica Argentina, ha incontrato a Buenos Aires il Presidente Javier Milei con il quale ha rilasciato dichiarazioni alla stampa. In seguito, ha tenuto un intervento al Teatro Coliseo.

G20 Summit: President Meloni meets with the Prime Minister of Japan and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
In the margins of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, the President of the Council of Ministers ,Giorgia Meloni, had a meeting today with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shigeru Ishiba, and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer. The meeting focused in particular on the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), the highly strategic international partnership between Italy, the United Kingdom and Japan whose shared ambition is to develop a sixth-generation fighter jet.

Vertice G20, incontro del Presidente Meloni con il Primo Ministro giapponese e il Primo Ministro britannico
A margine del Vertice G20 di Rio de Janeiro, il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha avuto un incontro con il Primo Ministro giapponese Shigeru Ishiba e con il Primo Ministro britannico Keir Starmer. Il colloquio è stato incentrato in particolare sul Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), programma di collaborazione internazionale di elevata rilevanza strategica che coinvolge Italia, Regno Unito e Giappone con l'ambizione condivisa di sviluppare un caccia di sesta generazione.

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro from 17 to 19 November.
This morning, President Meloni participated in the side event organised by India, South Africa and Brazil (the G20 Troika) together with the UN and the World Bank Group on ‘Digital Public Infrastructure AI and Data for Governance’. She later participated in the third working session (‘Sustainable Development and Energy Transition’) and had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shigeru Ishiba, and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer.
