President Meloni’s statement on regeneration of the Parco Verde area in Caivano
Today, the State has delivered on another commitment made to citizens. At the opening ceremony for the new ‘Pino Daniele’ centre, we announced that the Government’s work in Caivano was by no means over, and would continue. That is precisely what has happened. Today, the second phase of the redevelopment and urban regeneration programme that has been carried out over the last 15 months got underway, with individuals convicted of Camorra-related crimes being evicted from illegally occupied homes in the Parco Verde area.

President Meloni’s statement on announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon
Italy welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon, a goal the Government had been working towards for a long time. The ceasefire now provides an opportunity for stabilisation of the Israel-Lebanon border and for displaced persons to return to their homes. Full implementation of Resolution 1701 is key to achieving this goal. Together with its EU and G7 partners, Italy will keep working in this direction, through the presence of our contingent in UNIFIL - who have never left their posts during these months of fighting - and by continuing to play a leading role in international support for the Lebanese armed forces.

Annuncio di un cessate il fuoco in Libano, dichiarazione del Presidente Meloni
L’Italia accoglie con favore l’annuncio di un cessate il fuoco in Libano, obiettivo per cui il Governo era da tempo impegnato. Il cessate il fuoco offre ora l’opportunità per la stabilizzazione del confine tra Israele e il Libano e il ritorno degli sfollati alle loro case. La piena applicazione della risoluzione 1701 costituisce la strada maestra per giungere a questo obiettivo. Insieme ai partner UE e G7, l’Italia continuerà a lavorare in questa direzione, attraverso la presenza del nostro contingente all’interno di UNIFIL – che non ha mai lasciato le proprie postazioni durante questi mesi di combattimenti – e continuando a svolgere un ruolo guida nel sostegno internazionale alle Forze Armate libanesi.

PNRR, valutazione positiva della Commissione europea per il pagamento della sesta rata pari a 8,7 miliardi di euro
Il Presidente Meloni: Grande soddisfazione per il lavoro svolto, l’Italia si conferma al primo posto in Europa. La Commissione europea, nella giornata di oggi, ha formalmente adottato la valutazione positiva sul conseguimento dei trentanove obiettivi connessi al pagamento della sesta rata del PNRR italiano, pari a 8,7 miliardi di euro. Con il pagamento della rata, previsto entro la fine del 2024 al termine del consueto iter procedurale, l’Italia – il primo Stato membro dell’Unione europea a ricevere la valutazione positiva sulla sesta rata – si conferma anche la Nazione che ha ricevuto l'importo maggiore di finanziamento, che raggiungerà 122 miliardi di euro, corrispondente al 63% della dotazione complessiva del PNRR, pari a 194,4 miliardi di euro.

Proroga dell'incarico di Vice Direttore dell'Agenzia informazioni e sicurezza interna (AISI)
Con Dpcm firmato dal Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni lo scorso 22 novembre, è stato prorogato di due anni l'incarico di Vice Direttore dell'Agenzia informazioni e sicurezza interna (AISI) al dott. Carlo De Donno. Della proroga è stato informato il Comitato parlamentare per la sicurezza della Repubblica (Copasir).

AISI deputy director appointment extended
With the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (‘DPCM’) signed by President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni on 22 November, the appointment of Carlo De Donno as deputy director of the Internal Information and Security Agency (‘Agenzia Informazioni e Sicurezza Interna’, ‘AISI’) has been extended for two years. The Parliamentary Committee for the Security of the Republic (‘Comitato parlamentare per la sicurezza della Repubblica’, ‘Copasir’) has been informed of the extension.

NRRP: European Commission gives positive assessment for payment of sixth instalment worth EUR 8.7 billion
President Meloni: great satisfaction with the work carried out, Italy confirms its leading position in Europe. The European Commission has today formally adopted a positive assessment regarding Italy’s achievement of the 39 milestones and targets required for payment of the sixth instalment of its NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), worth EUR 8.7 billion. The instalment is set to be paid by the end of 2024 upon completion of the standard procedure, confirming that Italy, as well as being the first European Union Member State to receive a positive assessment for its sixth instalment, is also the nation that has received the most funding, which will amount to EUR 122 billion, corresponding to 63% of the total resources of its NRRP, equal to EUR 194.4 billion.
