A steering committee meeting for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (‘NRRP’) was held today, in the presence of the President of the Council of Ministers.The President underlined the key role and the functions of the steering committee, which monitors progress in implementing the NRRP’s objectives and promptly identifies technical and political solutions to overcome any issues that may arise during implementation.

COP27 World Leaders Summit
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the COP27 summit in Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt) on 6 and 7 November. After participating in the ‘Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Implementation Summit’ opening ceremony and round table on ‘Just Transition’, President Meloni delivered a speech at the Plenary Session.

During the call, President Meloni and Prime Minister Morawiecki discussed the major challenges facing the European Union, including Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, energy security, European economic governance and migration.
