President Meloni in Libya

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, visited Libya today, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, for an Italian Government mission in the North African country. They were welcomed to Tripoli airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Najla Al Mangoush. President Meloni went on to meet with the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, with whom she issued statements to the press. A signing ceremony was then held for the energy agreements between Italy and Libya. President Meloni later met with the President of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya, Mohammed Yunis Ahmed Al-Menfi.
