President Meloni meets with Commander General of the Carabinieri Corps at Palazzo Chigi
The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received the Commander General of the Carabinieri Corps, Salvatore Luongo, at Palazzo Chigi today. The meeting was the first since General Luongo was appointed by the Council of Ministers, and President Meloni wished him all the best in his new position. On behalf of the Government, she also expressed gratitude for the role the Carabinieri have always played in protecting the safety of Italians, both at home and abroad.

Si è svolta oggi, nella Sala Verde di Palazzo Chigi, la riunione di insediamento del Comitato Strategico del nuovo Progetto MedOr, presieduta dal Sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio Alfredo Mantovano e alla quale hanno preso parte i Vertici delle Società, il Presidente della Fondazione MedOr Marco Minniti, nonché i rappresentanti dei Ministeri del CISR.

MedOr Project: inaugural meeting of the Strategic Committee held at Palazzo Chigi
The inaugural meeting of the Strategic Committee for the Meloni Government’s new MedOr Project was held at Palazzo Chigi today. The project involves the Leonardo Foundation becoming a ‘Foundation for Italy’, with the aim of teaming up in the interest of the nation. The MedOr Foundation has strengthened its mission through the direct involvement of key companies in which the Italian State holds an interest (CDP, Enel, Eni, Fs, Fincantieri, Poste Italiane, Snam, and Terna), in order to play an increasingly proactive role in supporting Italy’s soft power.

MedOr Project: inaugural meeting of the Strategic Committee held at Palazzo Chigi
The inaugural meeting of the Strategic Committee for the new MedOr Project was held at Palazzo Chigi today, chaired by Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano and attended by the top managers of the companies involved and the Chairman of the MedOr Foundation, Marco Minniti, as well as by representatives from the Ministries comprising the Interministerial Committee for the Security of the Republic.
