Ukraine, PM Draghi’s call with President Biden, President Macron, Chancellor Merkel and Prime Minister Johnson

The President of the Council of Ministers, Mario Draghi, had a telephone conversation yesterday evening, arranged by the U.S., with the President of the United States of America, the President of the French Republic, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
The leaders shared their concern about the Russian military build-up on Ukraine's borders, agreeing on the need for Russia to de-escalate tensions and reaffirming that diplomacy remains the only way forward to resolve the conflict in Donbas through the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
The leaders reiterated their support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Their respective teams will stay in close contact, including in the framework of consultations with NATO allies and EU partners, with a view to a coordinated and comprehensive response.
