The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met this afternoon with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in Kyiv. Following the signing ceremony for the Joint Declaration between Italy and Ukraine, the two leaders held a press conference. President Meloni went on to pay tribute to Ukraine’s fallen, laying a wreath at the wall of remembrance.
This morning, President Meloni visited St. Andrew’s Orthodox Church in Bucha and the places worst hit by the bombings in the city of Irpin.
