Statement by Palazzo Chigi on anniversary of the establishment of NATO
On April 4th, 1949, Italy signed the North Atlantic Treaty along with 11 other Nations. We are proud of the decisive contribution Italy has since made to the Alliance’s operations and missions as well as to its adaptation to new security challenges, including the threats affecting its southern flank and the Mediterranean.

Risarcimento in favore del Gruppo TIM, la nota di Palazzo Chigi
La Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, appresa la notizia della sentenza di condanna della Corte d’appello civile di Roma a risarcire in favore del Gruppo TIM la somma di circa 528 milioni di euro, oltre interessi, rivalutazione monetaria e spese di lite, comunica che proporrà ricorso per Cassazione e chiederà la sospensione degli effetti esecutivi della pronuncia.

Statement by Palazzo Chigi on compensation to TIM Group
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers, following the news that the Rome civil appeal court has sentenced it to pay TIM Group approximately EUR 528 million in compensation, plus interest, an inflation adjustment and the costs of the proceedings, states that it will file an appeal with the Court of Cassation asking for a suspension of said ruling’s enforcement.

20esimo anniversario della legge 92/2004, dichiarazione del Presidente Meloni
Oggi celebriamo il ventesimo anniversario della legge n. 92 del 30 marzo 2004, che ha istituito il Giorno del Ricordo dei martiri delle foibe e dell'esodo giuliano-dalmata.
Una legge spartiacque, che ha permesso di scrivere pagine di storia che non erano mai state scritte e che ha spezzato quella congiura del silenzio che, per decenni, ha avvolto la tragedia delle foibe e il dramma dell’esodo nell’oblio e nell’indifferenza.

President Meloni’s statement on 20th anniversary of Law no. 92/2004
Today we celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Law no. 92 of 30 March 2004, which established the national day of remembrance for the martyrs of the Foibe massacres and the Istrian–Dalmatian exodus.
This law marked a turning point, making it possible to write pages of history that had never before been written and breaking the conspiracy of silence that had shrouded the tragedy of the Foibe massacres and dramatic exodus for decades, leading to them being forgotten and to indifference.
