Prime Minister Conte in Niger and in Chad

Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte visited the Republic of Chad. He met with some representatives of the Italian community in N’Djamena this morning. Subsequently he had a bilateral meeting with the President of the Republic, Idriss Déby. At the end of the meeting, the two leaders released statements to the press.
The visit in Niger on 15 January
Prime Minister Conte was in Niamey where he met with Niger’s Prime Minister, Brigi Rafini, and the President of the Republic, Issoufou Mahamadou, with whom he held a joint press conference. Prime Minister Conte then went to the Italian Embassy where he met with the soldiers of the Italian contingent of the Bilateral Support Mission in Niger – MISIN. He also visited the Transit Centre of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the UNHCR Centre in the evening.
